Stephen Mackey is known for his paintings and illustrations that harness the ethereal and mystical. As a self-taught artist, Mackey is largely inspired by the Old Masters and Renaissance artists from France, Italy, and the Netherlands.

His paintings often feature muted colors and fantastical settings, blending romanticism with surreal elements. Within Mackey’s enigmatic compositions, tales of woe and whimsical magic coexist. His work has been exhibited in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Pasadena, California.
