In the lush heart of Coral Manor, Florida, the Fase 19 villa complex writes a minimalist living poem between the rainforest and the coastal scenery with the design philosophy of "less is more". Designed by STATE of Architecture, this group of buildings redefines the living paradigm of "luxury hidden in nature" in the tropics with restrained materials, flowing spaces and humble gestures.
在佛羅里達(dá)州珊瑚莊園的蔥郁腹地,F(xiàn)ase 19 別墅群以 “少即是多” 的設(shè)計(jì)哲學(xué),在熱帶雨林與海岸風(fēng)光之間書寫了一曲極簡(jiǎn)主義的居住詩篇。由 STATE of Architecture 操刀的這組建筑,以克制的材質(zhì)、流動(dòng)的空間與謙遜的姿態(tài),重新定義了熱帶地區(qū) “奢華隱于自然” 的生活范式。
The building follows the natural slope of the site and responds to the texture of the earth with stacked horizontal volumes. The roof adopts a gentle single-slope design, and the extended eaves stretch like wings, which not only provide shade for the lower space, but also visually strengthen the connection between the building and the horizon. The main body of the villa is arranged in an "L-shaped" plane, enclosing an introverted courtyard. The glass corner windows at the turning point bring the garden scenery into the room, forming an ingenious concept of "building as scene frame".
建筑順應(yīng)場(chǎng)地的自然坡度,以層疊的水平體量回應(yīng)大地的肌理。屋頂采用平緩的單坡設(shè)計(jì),延伸的挑檐如機(jī)翼般舒展,既為下層空間提供遮陽庇護(hù),又在視覺上強(qiáng)化了建筑與地平線的連接。別墅主體以 “L 形” 平面布局,圍合出內(nèi)向型庭院,轉(zhuǎn)折處的玻璃角窗將園景引入室內(nèi),形成 “建筑即景框” 的巧妙構(gòu)思。
The exterior walls are mainly white, dark gray and black stucco (plaster), breaking the monotony through subtle changes in color levels, and are matched with Ibiza stone bases and Meranti wood window frames, injecting natural warmth into the cold geometric lines. The corners of the building use column-free curved glass curtain walls, which eliminate visual barriers and make the indoor and outdoor landscapes as coherent as a flowing scroll.
外墻以白色、深灰與黑色 stucco(灰泥)為主基調(diào),通過色彩的微妙層次變化打破單調(diào),搭配伊比沙石砌成的基座與美蘭地木(Meranti)窗框,在冷峻的幾何線條中注入自然溫度。建筑轉(zhuǎn)角處采用無立柱的弧形玻璃幕墻,消除視線阻隔的同時(shí),使室內(nèi)外景觀如同流動(dòng)的畫卷般連貫。
The interior materials continue the restrained aesthetics of the exterior: the living room floor is paved with light gray travertine tiles, whose ice crack texture simulates the traces of waves; the bedroom walls are covered with straw wallpaper inlaid with mother-of-pearl, which has a soft luster under natural light; the volcanic rock bathtub in the bathroom is directly taken from the local quarry, and its unpolished rough surface resonates with the original atmosphere of the tropical rainforest.
室內(nèi)材質(zhì)延續(xù)室外的克制美學(xué):客廳地面鋪設(shè)淺灰色石灰華瓷磚,其冰裂紋理模擬海浪沖刷的痕跡;臥室墻面采用珍珠母貝鑲嵌的草編壁紙,在自然光下泛著柔和光澤;衛(wèi)浴間的火山巖浴缸直接取自當(dāng)?shù)夭墒瘓?chǎng),未經(jīng)打磨的粗糙表面與熱帶雨林的原始?xì)庀⑿纬晒舱瘛?/p>
The living room, dining room and kitchen on the first floor form a continuous space with a "zero partition wall" design. When the three ultra-wide folding glass doors are fully opened, the height difference between indoor and outdoor is naturally transitioned through the gently sloping steps, integrating the courtyard swimming pool, tropical plants and indoor furnishings. The handmade rattan chandelier hanging in the dining area echoes the material of the hammock in the outdoor leisure area. The dining table is a long table made of a whole tree trunk, and the annual ring texture becomes a natural work of art in the space. The kitchen island adopts a cantilever design, with a wine cabinet and storage drawers embedded below. The countertop extends out of the bar area, becoming a social center for family gatherings.
首層客廳、餐廳與廚房以 “零隔墻” 設(shè)計(jì)形成連續(xù)空間,三扇超寬折疊玻璃門完全打開后,室內(nèi)外高差通過緩坡臺(tái)階自然過渡,使庭院泳池、熱帶植物與室內(nèi)陳設(shè)融為一體。用餐區(qū)懸掛的手工藤編吊燈與戶外休閑區(qū)的吊床材質(zhì)呼應(yīng),餐桌選用整根樹干制成的長桌,年輪紋理成為空間的天然藝術(shù)品。廚房中島采用懸臂式設(shè)計(jì),下方嵌入酒柜與收納抽屜,臺(tái)面延伸出吧臺(tái)區(qū)域,成為家人聚會(huì)的社交中心。
The master bedroom suite on the second floor is like a "treetop viewing platform": the entire floor-to-ceiling window faces southeast, and you can directly see the core landscape axis of the Coral Manor; the background wall at the head of the bed is decorated with hand-woven palm leaf mats, matched with embedded wall lamps, creating a quiet atmosphere of a "forest tree house"; the double basins in the bathroom are made of integrated stone, and the glass wall of the independent shower room is planted with vertical green walls outside, making you feel like you are in the mist of the tropical rainforest when bathing. The terrace outside the second bedroom is equipped with a custom hammock, the bracket of which is a combination of meranti wood and brass components. Lying on it, you can look up at the stars or overlook the courtyard waterscape.
二層主臥套房如同 “樹梢上的觀景臺(tái)”:整面落地窗朝向東南,可直視珊瑚莊園的核心景觀軸;床頭背景墻以手工編織的棕櫚葉席裝飾,搭配嵌入式壁燈,營造出 “森林樹屋” 的靜謐氛圍;衛(wèi)浴間的雙臺(tái)盆采用一體化石材打造,獨(dú)立淋浴間的玻璃墻外側(cè)種植垂直綠墻,洗浴時(shí)仿佛置身于熱帶雨林的薄霧中。次臥外的露臺(tái)設(shè)有定制吊床,支架以美蘭地木與黃銅構(gòu)件結(jié)合,躺臥其上可仰望星空或俯瞰庭院水景。
The terraces and courtyards surrounding the building form the "third living layer": the edge of the swimming pool adopts an infinity design, and the water surface is level with the courtyard ground, forming a visual spectacle of "water and sky are one color"; the sunken meditation area on the north side is made of Ibiza stone into a circular bench, and a liftable fire pit device is set in the center. When it is lit at night, the firelight and the moonlight on the treetops together weave a unique tropical romantic atmosphere; the sunshade pergola on the west side adopts a triangular metal frame covered with weather-resistant canvas to form an adjustable light and shadow filtering system, projecting dynamic geometric patterns on the ground as the sun's trajectory changes.
環(huán)繞建筑的露臺(tái)與庭院構(gòu)成 “第三生活層”:泳池邊緣采用無邊際設(shè)計(jì),水面與庭院地面齊平,形成 “水天一色” 的視覺奇觀;北側(cè)的下沉式冥想?yún)^(qū)以伊比沙石砌成圓形坐凳,中央設(shè)置可升降的火塘裝置,夜晚點(diǎn)燃時(shí),火光與樹梢的月光共同編織出熱帶獨(dú)有的浪漫氛圍;西側(cè)的遮陽廊架采用三角形金屬框架,覆蓋耐候性帆布,形成可調(diào)節(jié)的光影過濾系統(tǒng),隨太陽軌跡變化在地面投射出動(dòng)態(tài)幾何圖案。
Beneath the seemingly "no design" appearance, the design team hides a deep consideration of the details of life: the indoor door handles are embedded in the same color as the wall to maintain the integrity of the facade while avoiding bumps; the edges of the window sills are chamfered to prevent dust accumulation and can be used as temporary seats; outdoor lamps are hidden in the gallery structure, and warm light overflows from the gaps in the metal grid, forming a soft "light fog" effect to prevent mosquitoes from gathering; even the escalator of the courtyard swimming pool is carved from Ibiza stone of the same material as the pool wall to eliminate the abrupt industrial feel.
設(shè)計(jì)團(tuán)隊(duì)在看似 “無設(shè)計(jì)” 的表象下,暗藏對(duì)生活細(xì)節(jié)的深度考量:室內(nèi)門把手采用與墻面同色的嵌入式設(shè)計(jì),保持立面完整性的同時(shí)避免磕碰;窗臺(tái)邊緣做弧形倒角處理,既防止積灰又可作為臨時(shí)坐榻;戶外燈具隱藏于廊架結(jié)構(gòu)中,暖光從金屬網(wǎng)格間隙溢出,形成柔和的 “光霧” 效果,避免蚊蟲聚集;甚至連庭院泳池的扶梯,都采用與池壁同材質(zhì)的伊比沙石雕刻而成,消除突兀的工業(yè)感。
The essence of Fase 19 is a reinterpretation of "tropical luxury" - it abandons the magnificent decoration, and builds a "quiet place" where the soul can rest with the authenticity of materials, the blank space of space and the dialogue with nature. Here, architecture is no longer a symbol of conquering nature, but a humble mediator: it makes the sun a brush, the sea breeze a movement, and the vegetation a screen, ultimately achieving the harmonious coexistence of humans and tropical ecology. When dusk permeates the courtyard, the outline of the building gradually disappears in the shadow of the coconut trees, leaving only the starry sky, the waves and the inner peace - this is the designer's ultimate answer to the "ideal tropical residence".
Fase 19 的本質(zhì),是對(duì) “熱帶奢華” 的重新詮釋 —— 它摒棄了金碧輝煌的裝飾,以材質(zhì)的本真、空間的留白與自然的對(duì)話,構(gòu)建了一處讓心靈得以棲息的 “寂靜之所”。在這里,建筑不再是征服自然的符號(hào),而是謙遜的調(diào)停者:它讓陽光成為畫筆,讓海風(fēng)成為樂章,讓植被成為屏風(fēng),最終成就了人與熱帶生態(tài)的和諧共生。當(dāng)暮色浸染庭院,建筑的輪廓在椰影中逐漸消隱,留下的唯有星空、海浪與內(nèi)心的平靜 —— 這正是設(shè)計(jì)者對(duì) “熱帶理想居所” 的終極回答。
