近日，北京大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)學(xué)院研究員韋東奕開通個(gè)人賬號(hào)的消息引發(fā)廣泛關(guān)注 （）。視頻當(dāng)中，韋東奕的牙齒有缺失，面部有異樣，許多網(wǎng)友對(duì)韋東奕本人的健康狀態(tài)表示擔(dān)憂。

Public concern has grown following Chinese mathematician Wei Dongyi's debut on social media. Wei, a researcher at Peking University's School of Mathematical Sciences, recently registered his personal account on a video-sharing platform, with a post on the account revealing missing teeth and unusual facial features, prompting many netizens to express worry about his health.

據(jù)韋東奕家屬回應(yīng)，韋東奕牙齒的問題有很多原因，患牙周炎曾治療多次，還要去醫(yī)院檢查。韋東奕的姐姐也表示，去帶他看過醫(yī)生。

Responding to the concerns, Wei Dongyi's family said that his dental issues stem from multiple causes. He suffers from periodontitis and has undergone treatment several times, with further hospital check-ups planned. Wei's older sister confirmed she has taken him to see a doctor.

6月7日，原央視主持人趙普公開發(fā)聲，呼吁學(xué)校關(guān)心和干預(yù)韋東奕的健康狀況。韋東奕需要的不是圍觀和膜拜，他迫切需要的是對(duì)身體健康狀況的關(guān)心和幫助，韋東奕的家人有責(zé)任更好地照顧他，北大也有道義上的義務(wù)關(guān)心他支持他。

On Saturday, former China Central Television (CCTV) host Zhao Pu publicly called on Peking University to show concern for Wei Dongyi's health and intervene if necessary. "What Wei needs is not onlookers and worship," Zhao said. "He urgently needs care and assistance regarding his physical health. Wei's family has a responsibility to care for him better, and Peking University also has a moral obligation to care for and support him."

對(duì)此，知名律師河南澤槿律師事務(wù)所主任付建認(rèn)為，韋東奕作為完全民事行為能力人應(yīng)當(dāng)對(duì)自己的生活負(fù)責(zé)，北大作為韋東奕的工作單位需要為其提供安全的工作場(chǎng)所。《教師法》規(guī)定各級(jí)人民政府應(yīng)當(dāng)采取措施，加強(qiáng)教師的思想政治教育和業(yè)務(wù)培訓(xùn)，改善教師的工作條件和生活條件，保障教師的合法權(quán)益，提高教師的社會(huì)地位。學(xué)校和其他教育機(jī)構(gòu)根據(jù)國(guó)家規(guī)定，自主進(jìn)行教師管理工作。如果韋東奕本人身體健康問題與其工作環(huán)境或者方式具有因果關(guān)系，校方有義務(wù)通過調(diào)整工作安排、提供醫(yī)療支持等方式保障其勞動(dòng)安全。韋東奕雖為成年人，但如果其存在生活技能缺失等特殊情況，家人作為其近親屬，在一定程度上負(fù)有照顧和監(jiān)護(hù)責(zé)任。

Fu Jian, a lawyer and director of Henan Zejin Law Firm, has offered a legal analysis. He said that as a person with full civil capacity, Wei Dongyi himself is primarily responsible for his own life. Peking University, as his employer, is obligated to provide a safe workplace.

Fu referenced China's Teacher Law, which stipulates that governments at all levels should take measures to strengthen teachers' ideological education and professional training, improve their working and living conditions, safeguard their lawful rights and interests, and enhance their social status. Schools and other educational institutions autonomously manage teachers according to national regulations.

If Wei's health problems have a causal relationship with his work environment or methods, the university has an obligation to safeguard his occupational safety, potentially by adjusting his workload or providing medical support. If he lacks essential life skills or faces special circumstances, his close relatives bear a certain level of responsibility for his care and guardianship.

韋東奕出生于1991年，父親是山東建筑大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系教授，韋東奕從小就對(duì)數(shù)學(xué)很感興趣。他不僅在國(guó)內(nèi)拿下過華羅庚數(shù)學(xué)獎(jiǎng)、陳省身金獎(jiǎng)、林家翹金獎(jiǎng)、許寶騄金獎(jiǎng)等獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，更接連在第49屆、第50屆國(guó)際數(shù)學(xué)奧賽中兩次拿到金獎(jiǎng)，而且是滿分。之后，他被保送到北大數(shù)學(xué)系。

據(jù)北京大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)學(xué)院官網(wǎng)介紹，韋東奕現(xiàn)為該學(xué)院微分方程教研室研究員。他2014年獲得北大學(xué)士學(xué)位，2018年獲得北大博士學(xué)位，2017到2019年在北京國(guó)際數(shù)學(xué)研究中心從事博士后研究工作，2019年12月之后留校擔(dān)任助理教授。

According to the official website of Peking University's School of Mathematical Sciences, Wei currently serves as a researcher at the school's Differential Equations Teaching and Research Section. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Peking University in 2014 and his PhD in 2018. From 2017 to 2019, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research. Since December 2019, he has remained at the university as an assistant professor.
