6月9日，據NBA官方微博，馬刺當家球星維克托·文班亞馬已經剃發，并將在少林寺開啟為期十天的閉關修煉。

Victor Wembanyama, a player for the San Antonio Spurs, had reportedly shaved his head and would begin a 10-day seclusion practice at China's Shaolin Temple.

近日，馬刺隊當家球星文班亞馬現身河南嵩山少林寺，不僅剃成光頭、身著僧服，還與寺內僧侶一同享用齋飯，這段獨特經歷迅速在網絡引發球迷熱議。

Wembanyama has apparently been spending some time in China at the Shaolin Temple, the Sports Illustrated (SI) magazine reported.

During his retreat, Wembanyama shaved his head and seemingly spent a day in the life of a monk, said the report.

據馬刺相關媒體報道，媒體人Dusty Garza透露，文班亞馬此次登封少林寺并非一時興起。他對博大精深的少林文化滿懷濃厚興趣，打算在寺廟開啟為期10天的修行生活。為此，他果斷暫停后續行程，隨行團隊也已先行離開。

Dusty Garza, an editor from the Spurs Report, said on X that according to multiple independent sources, "Wembanyama is not only deeply interested in Shaolin culture, he had a master shave his head and is now beginning a 10-day retreat at that temple. His upcoming travel plans have been paused, and his entourage has already left."

6月9日，據大河報記者從少林寺相關人士處得知，文班亞馬目前確實在少林寺，但是相關事宜不方便對外公開。

The Zhengzhou-based Dahe Daily learned from sources at the Temple on Monday that Wembanyama was indeed at the Temple, but related matters were not convenient to share publicly, according to the report.

此前，文班亞馬到訪北京，并參觀游覽了天壇、八達嶺長城等景點。NBA中國官方網站也證實了此事。

記者了解到， 外國球星來少林寺 “剃度出家”的消息不太可能，因為剃度出家需要走嚴格的正規受戒的程序，并不是短期可以進行的。根據規定，外國人并不能在少林寺進行剃度出家。經寺院方面的溝通同意后，外界人士在少林寺進行修行體驗的活動是有可能的。

文班亞馬2004年1月4日出生于法國勒謝奈，職業籃球運動員，身高2米26，司職大前鋒/中鋒，現效力于NBA圣安東尼奧馬刺隊。

Wembanyama, born on Jan 4, 2004, in Le Chesnay, France, is a professional basketball player. Standing at 2.26 meters, he currently plays for the NBA's San Antonio Spurs.

據美媒Barstool Sports，文班亞馬身上那種“怪里怪氣的法國人”氣質，再加上他熱衷旅行的生活方式，讓“休賽期跑去中國當和尚”這件事聽起來也沒那么離譜。

"So the combination of Wemby being a weirdo-Frenchman, as well as a noted traveler, leads me to believe spending an off-season with Chinese monks is maybe less of a diversion from his normal life than it would be for most professional athletes."

值得一提的是，登上嵩山造訪少林寺的NBA球星并非個例。

2009年，NBA著名中鋒奧尼爾就曾前往少林寺問禪求教。同年，NBA球星德文·哈里斯也曾到訪少林寺。2016年，韋德訪問了少林寺，在西方圣人殿前上香祈求世界和平，并參觀了少林寺歷代高僧的墓地——塔林。

今年3月，美國網紅“甲亢哥”的中國行曾引發熱烈關注，少林寺也是其中國行的一站，他的拜訪引發了海外對于少林寺的討論熱潮。
