據央視新聞消息，當地時間6月13日，總臺記者獲悉，匿名美國國防官員發布消息稱，由美軍人員操作、最早在拜登政府時期部署的“愛國者”和“薩德”導彈防御系統，參與了以色列的防空行動。相比去年美方在伊朗兩次報復性襲擊中出動空中和海上力量協助攔截導彈的廣泛介入，此次行動的規模明顯較小。
