據平安臨潼微博：5月30日17時30分許，孫某（男，30歲）進入兵馬俑景區參觀時，翻越遺址坑護欄及防護網跳至三號坑內推拉陶俑，造成兩尊鎧甲武士俑（二級文物）不同程度損壞，目前，孫某已被公安機關控制，經查，孫某患有精神疾病，案件正在進一步辦理中。
A man, surnamed Sun, 30, breached the barriers and protective fencing of the excavation pit at the Terracotta Warriors Museum, entering Pit No 3 at around 17:30 on Friday. As a result of his pushing and pulling warrior statues, two Class II protected artifacts—armored warrior statues were damaged. The man has been under control of the police and he is found to have mental health issue, according to a notice released by Lintong branch of Xi'an public security bureau on early Saturday.
