據美聯社6月13日報道，日本首相石破茂譴責以色列襲擊伊朗，并敦促雙方停止升級局勢。石破茂對記者表示：“在當前為和平解決伊朗核問題而進行外交努力時，使用武力是絕對不可接受的。”關于伊朗對以色列采取的報復行為，石破茂表示，任何導致局勢進一步升級的行動都必須停止。
